How to set up online gaming through a PC/Laptop

1. Turn off your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 games console
2. Connect your ethernet crossover wire into the back of your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 games console and the other end into the back of your PC or Laptop
3. Turn on your PC or Laptop
4. Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center
5. In the Tasks panel on the left click on Manage Network Connections
6. On the Local Area Connection right click and click Enable *if it says Disable just leave it
7. Right click your internet and click Properties
8. Click on the Sharing tab at the top > Tick all the boxes > click ok
9. It should now say your internet connection and Shared > close the windows and make sure your internet is on
10. Turn on your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 games console and test the connection there
11. If its successful, Congratulations! Your all done

12. On your PC or Laptop go back onto Networking and Sharing Center > Manage Network Connections
13. Right click your internet and click Properties
14. Tick all the boxes you see eg: Internet Protocol Version 6, Internet Protocol Version 4
15. Click the Sharing Tab at the top > Settings > Tick all the boxes there > Ok

16. Click Start > Type ' cmd ' inside the search bar and hit enter
17. In the black box that has just popped up type ' ipconfig ' and hit enter
18. Scroll to the top and you should see your IP address infomation, it may be under IPv4 but nevertheless there is your IP address that you will use
19. Go onto your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 games console and type in your IP adress manually.
